mCon esports awarded the first-ever “Topsportlabel Rotterdam”

mCon esports is proud to be among the very first organizations to receive the Topsportlabel Rotterdam. Together with HC Rotterdam and Topjudo Rotterdam, we are honored to be pioneers of this new city-wide recognition.

The Topsportlabel is an initiative by Rotterdam Topsport, led by Percy Isenia, and is awarded to elite sports organizations that actively invest in a safe, healthy, and fair high-performance sports environment. According to Sports Alderman Faouzi Achbar, the label highlights that elite sports are about more than just winning.

“These three clubs show what Rotterdam’s elite sports truly stand for: ambition with a human touch,” says Peter Blangé, Director of Rotterdam Topsport. “Through their commitment to a healthy and honest sporting environment, they contribute to a sustainable future for elite sports in our city.”

This recognition also marks an important step for the esports industry. Ruben Been of mCon esports explains:
